Help your customers’ productivity take off with the right Copilot business plan

Copilot is your clients’ ticket off the runway of tedious tasks. With AI, they’ll reach productivity cruising altitude.

But it’s not always clear to clients how AI could benefit their teams or how to get started. And anyway, isn’t enterprise-ready AI pricey? Don’t you need to be an AI afficionado to work these things? The short answer: no.

For a longer answer, let’s dig into more detail on the different Copilot plans and how to advise your clients on which one to choose (the first of which is free!).

Personal vs. Business class

Microsoft offers two types of Copilot plans: personal and business.

Personal plans cannot be used with a work email address. So, the Microsoft 365 business plans are ideal for organisations wanting to unlock AI for employees. Point your customers to business class.

Taxi down the runway with free Copilot Chat

Many people still haven’t tried out an AI assistant. Microsoft 365 Copilot Chat is free for organisations with a Microsoft 365 license and is a great way to test AI productivity boosts with no financial commitment. It’s available on the web, and in Teams, Outlook, and Microsoft Edge.

The secure Copilot Chat with IT controls, like enterprise data protection, is powered by GPT-4o and grounded in the web to help users power up their productivity. In seconds, they can get industry topic summaries, build frameworks, find the right Excel formula for tasks of any level, generate images, and more. Agents accessed directly in the chat offer knowledge and skills like prompt, writing, and idea coaching.

There are file upload and image generation limits, but there’s plenty of bandwidth to get users started with embedding AI in their workflows.

TAKE OFF WITH MICROSOFT COPILOT

The engine really comes to life in Microsoft 365 Copilot. This plan is rooted in Microsoft Graph – meaning users can get relevant assistance that is based on internal data. This makes Copilot super powerful for assisting on work tasks. It also boasts enterprise-grade data protection, privacy, and compliance, and only allows access to content users have permission to see. No safety briefing required.

Employees could save more than two workdays per month with Microsoft 365 Copilot

Copilot can:

  • Write detailed Teams meeting notes – save up to 25 minutes per meeting
  • Summarise what you’ve missed in Teams chats – no more scrolling to find important messages post-holiday

Cruise at altitude with Copilot Studio

Copilot Studio is a low-code agent builder that will help users cruise through their day.

Customers can automate workflows and build custom AI agents that connect to any data source – Microsoft 365 or third-party – and be embedded into company apps. No coding skills required.

Specialised agents can dive deep into specific tools or teams, while workflow agents reduce repetitive tasks to just a few prompts. Imagine generating end-of-month reports in minutes!

For security, point clients to Microsoft Security Copilot. For coding, there’s GitHub Copilot.
