What is the Big Pitch?

The Big Pitch helps you bring Microsoft marketing campaigns to life, with funding support of up to 50% of budget for approved activity. You can build and deliver marketing that meaningfully shifts awareness of your Microsoft solutions and services, without having to break the bank – or water down your ideas.

Building momentum, one touchpoint at a time

Great campaigns meet the audience where they are. AAG used their matched funding to build a multi-touch digital campaign to highlight the value of their Azure Cloud Cost Cutter Service.

The solution is designed to help customers actively reduce costs across their Microsoft estate, so AAG created a connected experience across web, LinkedIn and email, that would reach the audience across channels and communicate a clear message.

The campaign was a hit. From an impressive 61 leads, AAG delivered new customer wins across a diverse set of organisations from law to manufacturing and finance institution in between! Armed with the right message and the right channels, AAG showed what’s possible when big ideas have the right backing – and proved that consistent customer touchpoints can drive real business results.

Converting conversations into pipeline with AspiraCloud

While tradeshows create plenty of footfall, they don’t always deliver the high-quality opportunities organisations want to see. AspiraCloud showed how to get it right by focusing its campaign on face-to-face engagement at BETT 2026.

AspiraCloud built on a successful presence in 2025, returning with a clear plan to engage decision-makers across the education sector. They had reinforcements in Westcoast Cloud’s Security Specialists, helping them pair strong, audience-focused messaging with technical expertise to make sure every conversation on the day made its way back to tangible value for the prospect. 

The event generated 200 marketing-qualified leads and 19 sales-qualified opportunities – showing meaningful intent to explore Microsoft solutions among contacts from the day. AspiraCloud made the most of their footfall, with conversations that were targeted, relevant and communicated clear commercial value.

AspiraCloud is a great reminder that even in a digital-first world, in-person engagement can play a critical role in building trust and moving the dial towards a decision.

Mixing it up with a creative variety pack

Fortem Information Technology didn’t put all its eggs in one basket. Instead, they used their funding to run a mix of activity, designed to catch customers at different points in their journey rather than relying on one engagement moment.

The campaign was anchored by CyberFest, an in-person summer event that got the right people in the room and sparked conversations with the potential to build into real opportunity over the months ahead. But Fortem didn’t stop there. They followed it with a direct mail campaign – sending out a Christmas chocolate drop to land between the Christmas parties and the mince pies, when most marketing goes quiet. This kept Fortem front of mind at a moment when competitors had largely switched off for the holidays, with a charming, low-cost approach that kept customers warm in the winter.

The Big Pitch gave Fortem the room to test both approaches – event and direct mail – rather than betting everything on one format.
